Hurst delivered the retail fit-out of
IKEA’s new flagship store on Oxford
Street, transforming a Grade II listed
building across the ground floor and two
basement levels. Acting as Principal FitOut Contractor, we managed decorative
flooring, electrical and lighting installations,
bespoke joinery, display racking, and full
internal decoration with client branding.
Despite the challenges of a constrained

city-centre site and listed building
requirements, the project was completed
in line with the programme, creating a
retail space that reflects IKEA’s signature
design and has been well received by the
client, partners, and the public.
