What is Third Party
Certification? _
At Hurst Joinery Projects, we work to
the highest standards of construction
practice, demonstrated through the
certifications and accreditations we hold.
Third-party certification is an
independent process that verifies the
design, manufacture, performance,
and documentation of our doorsets.
We work closely with recognised
certification bodies who routinely audit
our systems and processes. Regular
testing ensures continued compliance
with relevant standards.
Certification provides assurance that,
when correctly installed and maintained,
our doorsets meet regulatory
requirements. Each product is supported
by a data sheet outlining the information
needed for installation within the
certified scope.
All certificates and data sheets are
available on request. Certification
status can also be confirmed at:

AynsleyFire Certification
and Performance _
AynsleyFire timber doorsets are
manufactured and tested under BM
Trada Q-Mark certification schemes,
covering both fire door manufacture
and, where specified, enhanced security
performance. This ensures each doorset
is produced, tested, and supplied within
a controlled and independently audited
framework.
Fire Resistance
Structural Durability
Certified to FD30, FD60 and FD90
ratings, doorsets are designed to
contain fire for up to 90 minutes,
supporting compartmentation and the
protection of escape routes.
Doorsets are durability tested in
accordance with BS EN 1192 and
classified to EN 12400, Class 8
(Severe Duty), supporting consistent
performance in high-use areas.
Acoustic Performance
Enhanced Security (PAS 24 Option)
Designed to perform in demanding
environments, AynsleyFire doorsets
provide a combination of fire resistance,
durability, acoustic control, and optional
security compliance within a single, fully
certified solution.
With acoustic ratings of up to
42 dB Rw, doorsets help reduce sound
transmission in environments such as
residential developments, education
settings, and hotels.
Where required, doorsets can be
supplied with PAS 24 certification,
providing resistance to forced entry for
use in residential and multi-occupancy
buildings. This option allows fire and
security requirements to be addressed
within a single doorset specification.
