Workplace Case Study_
Hurst delivered 125 timber doorsets as part of a premium
office refurbishment project, spanning nine floor levels
from lower ground to level seven. The scope included:
- A variety of American oak veneered and kraft paperfaced fire-rated doors, all Q-Mark certified for both
manufacturing and installation.
- Acoustic-rated doors achieving 30 and 35 dB Rw, with
integrated vision panels and kickplates, flush glazing
beads and full ironmongery installation.
Heritage Case Study_
Hurst played a pivotal role in the restoration of Walworth
Town Hall, a historic building damaged by fire. The scope
of work included:
- 134 bespoke timber doorsets, including hand-carved
designs to preserve the building’s heritage.
- Q-Mark certified fire-rated doorsets, carefully designed
to blend with the historical aesthetics while ensuring
modern fire safety compliance.
