AynsleyFire Timber Doorsets
Installation and Fire Door
Identification _
Correct installation is critical to the performance of
fire doorsets and their ability to meet regulatory
requirements. Fire doorsets must be installed in
accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and
within the approved field of application to ensure certified
fire and security performance is maintained.
Installation Requirements
Fire doorsets should be installed
by a competent and appropriately
accredited installer in accordance
with the manufacturer’s installation
instructions and within the approved
field of application. Instructions are
provided to support correct fitting on
site and to ensure consistency with
tested configurations. Any deviation
from the approved installation method
or unauthorised modification may
compromise performance and invalidate
certification.
Identification
AynsleyFire doors are fitted
with fire certification plugs that
identify the applicable fire rating
(FD30, FD60 or FD90), the tested
doorset configuration (including
glazing, where applicable), and the
relevant certification reference.
These markers support clear
identification, inspection, and
traceability, assisting ongoing
maintenance and compliance
management.
